The iOS and Android versions are ports of the PSP War of the Lions version. In case you've only played the PSX version:War of the Lions changes:. They fixed weapon duplication and the JP scroll bug. They added. New Dark Knight and Onion Knight jobs!
(Note: Dark Knight is crazy hard to unlock.). +4 to your party roster size.
Multiple other builds of the game have been since publicly released as well, along with design documents.Reception ReceptionAggregate scoresAggregatorScore82.70%82/100Review scoresPublicationScore8/108.25/108.5/108.2/10Critical reception S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl received generally positive reviews, with critics praising the game for its style and depth while criticising technical issues, mentioning the number of bugs present. Stalker call of pripyat enemies. It was also significantly larger than the retail release. It is currently available for free download from the GSC servers and mirrors. It is however somewhat unstable, but features the full game along with a 'fully functional ALife system'.
Balthier (FFXII) and Luso (FFTA2) are new recruitable characters (with overpowered base jobs, naturally). New story/sidequest content so you can really beat the shit out of Algus/Argath. New and improved.
localization. Mayhaps that you can stand psuedo-Shakespearean dialog. All ability animations play at 50% speed!. They removed all the little quotes that'd sometimes trigger when you used an ability. 'Reason with confusion, judge with recklessness.Brave Insanity!' IOS + Android Port changes:. They fixed the animation slowdown bug of the PSP version.
Lots of touch controls. Much improved camera. Slightly better sprites. No quicksave makes me a sad panda.:(. After you finish a battle, always fucking save. Sometimes the game will crash, especially going into the party roster after a long battle.FFT is my all-time favorite game!
Hope that helps.:). New and improved. localization.Note that it's written in such a way that a simple word won't do if there's a more complicated/archaic one instead. So it's more 'mayhap thou could countenance workmanship aspiring to evoke the tongue of our forefathers.' It gets old fast (no pun intended), is basically the advisory I'm trying to give here.
Plus it dilutes the impact of some of the better moments in the game. 'Tis your birth or faith that wrongs you, not I' just doesn't have the punch of 'don't blame me, blame yourself or god.' And maybe it's a personal thing more than anything else, but 'I am Velius, the devil, your wish is granted' hits harder when he calls himself a devil rather than a warlock when preying on a dying man's fear and desperation (plus it fits the original Majin Beriasu better, majin coming from 'ma' meaning demon, 'jin' meaning 'person').PS1 translation definitely had its faults (most notably that they were far too literal in many respects or missed some context while translation like 'bracelet' instead of 'breath') but the PSP translation kinda threw the baby out with the bathwater.

At this point I sometimes give a ranged character knight skills like break armor, break weapon, etc.
This allows the character to break enemies' equipment from afar.Give your Monk the Ninja support ability Two Swords. He will attack twice for amazing damage each round.I generally keep Ramza's secondary action ability as Guts, regardless of his actual job. It's a great skill set that complements most other physical attack jobs very nicely.A Samurai with very low faith and the reaction ability Blade Grasp is damn near invulnerable: low faith makes magic attacks near useless, and Blade Grasp prevents almost all physical attacks when brave is high. Just keep in mind it will be hard to heal this unit without relying on items. You can raise/lower Brave and Faith artificially with Oracle skills.Geomancer with the Wizard's Magic Attack Up support skill makes a decent hybrid physical/magical attacker with good range and instant cast spells with a low chance of debuff.Keep in mind I'm using the PSX version translation for abilities, not War of the Lions.
I'm not a big fan of the samurai class. They tend to be a lot slower than my other characters. Since their Draw Out skills are based on MA, it could make a good secondary ability for a magic user. And Blade Grasp.best reaction ability in the game.
Fft Wotl Classes
In battle, use Ramza's Guts skill Cheer Up on all of your characters to max out their brave to 100. Each time you use Cheer Up, your brave permanently increases by 1, meaning you will have to do this for multiple random battles to get to 97 Brave.
Instead of a samurai, I like to use a female Monk with a Basic Skill secondary (for Accumulate), Blade Grasp reaction, Attack Up support and Move +2. Females monks can equip ribbons/hair pieces and the Setiemson (MA +1, Auto-Haste., and start battle invisible). It's not so much about combinations as it is cherry-picking good (or even broken abilities).Focus on getting:Support Abilities:- Dual Wield (Ninja)- Short Charge (Time Mage) if you're going to play any kind of mageReaction:- Blade Grasp (Samurai) - this ability pretty much breaks the game. Get it and use a mediator to increase your unit's brave to 100 while you grind. It'll permanently change that unit's brave (to a max of 97).
Your units are practically invulnerable to physical attacks after that.Movement:- Move + 2 (Thief) - or Move +3 from bards for males, but it takes quite a bit more grindingAgrias is pretty good until you get Orlandu, who can solo the rest of the game. Give him Blade Grasp and get his brave to 97. Make sure he has Excalibur (you can dual wield it in his offhand if you get a stronger knight sword). If something does manage to hit him, use Night Sword to heal to full.Oh, and make sure you keep a thief around to steal gear. Early game, Wizards are glass cannons. Get Thundara and some MP+ gear to cast it a few times. Auto-Potion is your friend.

Sell your old potions and stock only Hi or X Potions once they are available.Mid game, Monks subbing Guts(Squire Abilities) are amazing, especially Ramza. Yell/Shout for +Spd, then Accumulate.
Should kill everything. Move-HP+ and Chakra keep your HP high.Late game, 4 x Ninjas/Monks + Guts + Blade Grasp + Unarmed Damage/Two Swords + Move 3 + Low Faith. With 1 Monk + Item + Blade Grasp + Throw Item + Move-HP+ + Low Faith. I believe Monk healing power from Chakra is based on Attack Damage not Faith/Magic Power, so equip appropriate gear and you can use Phoenix Down or Revive to resurrect. Keep him out of the fight using Earth Slash as needed.
What is anyfile notepad. How can the answer be improved?
At some point you're going to get a character named Mustadio.Never, ever let him die and crystalize or kick him out, or else you'll lock yourself out of a chain of sidequests in the last chapter.Other than that - experiment! FFT isn't really that hard. A lot of the comments here are telling you ways to break the game, which can be fun, but a big part of how great FFT is trying out everything in the game. You can beat the game with anything with the right strategies.I've probably sunk more total time into FFT than any other game I can think of. It's incredible, and I love that people are still playing it.
